I was in Vancouver last week for the Mitacs workshop on Mathematics of Brain Imaging 2012. I gave a talk about using statistical knowedge of nueroanatomy to provide more robust segmentation and registration. I won best student paper! here's a picture of me with the conference organizers, including the LDDMM rockstar Dr. Faisal Beg (right).
Copied my "newVersion" website to be my default website. Updated a couple little things.
Another version in php. Includes and layouts are much better. Style is now my own, not a template. Still under construction.
New version is out in php. Removed repeated text. Now logo, top picture, links, text in gray box, is only written once no matter how many pages it appears on. This makes things much easier to change. I also added some php if statements and even a regular expression to define the active navitabs and only write out the titles of navitabs once. I also made some changes to content.
Have been experimenting with .php includes. Just about ready to roll out a new version of the website.
Finished adding information to my last tab, the "about me" one. Added one link to my old website on the right.
I've received a check in the mail from the Canadian government.
I added information under the Awards and Projects at CIS tabs.
I've fixed the navitab links, and added information to the "Other Interests" and "Publications" tabs.
Note: If you find any spelling mistakes, please help me and point them out. There's no squigly red underline in "gedit". Except for stray Canadian u's. I reserve the right to include them or not include them, consistantly or inconsistently, at my leisure, for whatever reason I see fit, including for no reason at all.
Website under construction
I've just created this website based on a template that's described below. Still filling in some details. None of the links work yet.
Info from template
This template is built with XHTML and CSS code only. It contains no CMS-specific code. It may be customized to work with many different content management systems, but that will require additional programming. A list of available versions for different systems can be found on the original templates page.
Note: If you want to support the development of more free templates, it is possible to make a donation of any amount through PayPal. All donations are used to develop new templates and to keep the template site online. Top donors will get their name and link listed on the site (if wanted). Advertising options are also available. Contact me for more information!
Free to use!
I kindly ask that you leave the credit text and link (the one that says "Original design by Andreas Viklund" in the footer) since that is a nice way of supporting my template design work. But it is no requirement, just a request. Do what works best for you!
Good luck with your new design!
