Description
The goal of the Biomedical Engineering department is to educate students in the interdisciplinary fields of engineering and medicine. Students in the master's program receive: 1) sound theoretical instruction in the traditional engineering disciplines; 2) exposure to specialized topics in biomedical engineering, such as biomedical instrumentation, systems physiology, biosensors, biomaterials, biomechanics, and biomedical imaging; and 3) practical training in the form of supervised research projects.
